Performs a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures. Prepares specimens. Oversees supply management. Operates and properly maintains equipment.
This is an ideal position for individuals looking to complete a gap year of research prior to medical school. This is a full-time position and in-person work is required (no remote work). Must have previous experience working on research involving direct interactions with humans- either in a laboratory or in clinic setting. Must attach a resume or the application will not be considered.
-assist in human motion capture data collection
-use custom data processing software to track bone motion in radiographic images
-create 3D bone and soft tissue models from medical images (CT and MRI)
-Organize data and results in spreadsheet
-Review literature related to ongoing research
Must be able to work at a desk for extended periods of time (sitting or standing); must be able to lift 50 pounds, must be able to navigate through a room lined with wires and cables on the floor without assistance or tripping.
