This role focuses on entering and reviewing court documents to ensure that driver sanctions are applied accurately and quickly. The work supports public safety by keeping driving records current and reliable.
As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Document Review: Examine court and out of state documents related to driving sanctions
- Accurate Entry: Enter violation information from various jurisdictions and electronic submissions
- Code Translation: Convert out of state violation codes to Pennsylvania Vehicle Codes and assign AAMVA codes
- Quality Standards: Meet established accuracy expectations to maintain reliable customer records
- Policy Compliance: Follow departmental procedures and complete mandatory training requirements

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday-Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831.00 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
