Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in static equipment and tank design for Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon, and Carbon Emission projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AVEVA E3D, static equipment design, storage tanks, pressure vessels, columns, and shell & tube heat exchangers, along with strong knowledge of applicable engineering codes and standards.

Job Description

  • Design experience with Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, Columns, Pressure Vessels, and Storage Tanks.

  • Strong knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including:

    • ASME Section VIII Division 1 & Division 2

    • TEMA

    • IBR

    • API

    • API 620 / 650 / 660

    • API 12F / 12D

  • Experience using engineering tools such as PV Elite, COMPRESS, and NozzlePRO.

  • Provide technical resolutions and coordinate with clients and vendors.

  • Participate in meetings with clients, vendors, and internal departments for technical resolution and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for individual equipment requisitions within a project.

  • Perform mechanical design for Columns, Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers, and Storage Tanks.

  • Review equipment drawings, including in-house and vendor documents.

  • Ensure deliverables are completed according to the project schedule and workflow.

  • Prepare individual purchase specifications and technical bid clarifications.

  • Coordinate with vendors throughout the equipment design and procurement process.

  • Provide necessary technical inputs to other engineering disciplines.

  • Attend meetings with clients, internal teams, and vendors as required.

  • Participate in internal meetings and support timely completion of project deliverables.

  • Contribute to ISO and Quality Assurance documentation.

  • Perform mechanical design of static equipment, including:

    • Pressure Vessels

    • Columns

    • Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers

    • Storage Tanks

  • Demonstrate knowledge of various Materials of Construction (MOC), including:

    • Carbon Steel (CS)

    • Stainless Steel (SS)

    • Low Alloy Steel (LAS)

    • Low-Temperature Carbon Steel (LTCS)

    • Cladded Steel

  • Review vendor documentation for various types of static equipment and provide technical approval.

  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary engineering departments regarding vendor document reviews and approvals.
