Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

What We're Looking For

  • Previous medical office, scheduling, administrative, or healthcare support experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities:
 •    Answer incoming telephone calls and assist patients, providers, and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
•    Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments as needed.
•    Check patients in and out of appointments and ensure all required information is complete.
•    Distribute incoming faxes to the appropriate staff or department in a timely manner.
•    Scan and upload patient documents into the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
•    Process and maintain patient paperwork, referrals, and medical records.
•    Provide patients with follow-up instructions and scheduling information.
•    Respond to routine inquiries and direct calls to the appropriate team members.
•    Maintain accurate patient information and appointment records.
•    Assist with front desk operations and general administrative tasks.
•    Ensure confidentiality of patient information and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
•    Complete Insurance Verification and fill out required paperwork 
•    Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, providers, and colleagues.
 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Three years experience in an administrative support role.
  • Previous medical office, scheduling, or administrative experience preferred.
  • Ability to perform advanced functions in word processing, electronic mail/calendar, spreadsheet, presentation and database software 
  • Ability to use applicable MS Suite products
  • Working knowledge of business processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and financial principles and functions
  • Ability to analyze data and use basic reasoning skills
