Here is how the Gas Management Intern role will impact our business:
As a Gas Management Intern, you will support the team in developing and enhancing reporting tools that help manage EQT’s daily gas operations. This role offers exposure to the midstream natural gas business and an opportunity to learn how measurement, scheduling, optimization, and data analysis drive Midstream revenues. You’ll gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful projects that improve visibility and decision-making across the organization.
The Gas Management Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist in developing and improving reports that enhance visibility into gas operations and system performance
- Support efforts to review and model business processes, including documenting current (“As-Is”) and future (“To-Be”) workflows
- Contribute to customer experience and operational efficiency initiatives across the Gas Management team.
- Participate in ad hoc projects or analyses as requested by the team
- Provide general support to the Gas Management program while learning the core operations of the midstream natural gas business.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Must be a currently enrolled undergraduate student majoring in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or Information Systems & Technology
- Experience working on projects including aspects of business process review, business intelligence, natural gas engineering, or financial modeling
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and within a cross-functional team in a fast paced and deadline-oriented environment
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based applications and ability to conduct data analysis within business intelligence tools
Remote work is being considered for this role excluding the following states: Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, Louisiana, New Jersey, and New York.
Selected incumbent will be placed into the position that best suits their abilities and experience level.
