This role focuses on maintaining and repairing many building systems to help the Carlisle Readiness Center operate smoothly. The position covers a wide range of tasks that support the facility’s safety, function, and upkeep. As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Painting Work: Prepare surfaces and apply interior and exterior paint
- Plumbing Tasks: Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and related components
- Carpentry Skills: Perform rough and finish carpentry, including room remodeling and repairs
- Electrical Support: Install, replace, and maintain circuits, lighting, and related systems
- HVAC and Systems: Service heating, cooling, ventilation, and automated building systems
- Facility Upkeep: Carry out cleaning, grounds keeping, masonry, and other general maintenance

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM), Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch. Your schedule may change based on operational needs.
- Travel: As needed
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Special Requirement:
You must be in possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
