Consumer Product Development Program Associate
Program Overview:
The Consumer Product Development Program is a 12-month rotational experience designed to build foundational skills in product strategy, customer insights, portfolio management, and business performance within a consumer banking environment.
As an Associate, you will gain hands-on exposure to the full product lifecycle across key consumer banking products, including deposits, lending, payments, and digital banking solutions. Participants will work alongside product managers, strategists, and business leaders to understand how products are designed, priced, launched, managed, and optimized to meet customer needs while driving business growth and profitability.
Through rotational assignments and real-world project work, associates will develop expertise in; Product strategy and roadmap development, Customer research and insight generation, Product design and value proposition development, Pricing and profitability management, Portfolio performance analysis, Competitive and market intelligence, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention strategies, Product governance, risk, and regulatory considerations, Product launch and lifecycle management.
The program provides exposure to how data, customer behavior, operational capabilities, and financial performance influence product decisions. Associates will learn how to evaluate opportunities, identify customer needs, develop business cases, and execute initiatives that improve customer experiences and business outcomes.
This program is ideal for individuals who are curious, analytical, customer-focused, and passionate about solving problems through innovative product solutions. Participants will gain the skills needed to influence product strategy, drive growth, and create meaningful value for both customers and the organization.
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will have developed a strong foundation in product management and be well-positioned for future opportunities within Consumer Banking Strategy & Product Development, supporting long-term career growth and leadership potential within the organization.

Your Role:
Product Lifecycle & Customer Insights
You will play a key role in understanding how customers interact with our products across their financial lifecycle. Through rotations in consumer deposits, consumer lending, small business deposits, and small business lending, you will analyze customer behavior, identify unmet needs, and support enhancements that improve engagement and retention. You will gain experience translating customer insights into actionable product improvements that drive stronger relationships and long-term value.
Product Strategy & Development
You will contribute to the development and evolution of product strategies by supporting initiatives related to product design, positioning, and competitiveness. This includes evaluating product performance, identifying opportunities to simplify and optimize the product suite, and helping shape value propositions across both Consumer and Small Business segments. You will learn how product decisions directly influence balance sheet growth, customer acquisition, and engagement.
Pricing, Profitability & Risk Management
You will gain exposure to how pricing, credit, and risk considerations impact product performance. Working alongside Finance, Risk, and Product teams, you will support analysis of deposit pricing, loan yields, and portfolio performance metrics. You will develop an understanding of how to balance growth, profitability, and risk while ensuring alignment with policies, regulatory expectations, and the bank’s overall financial objectives.
Training & Professional Development
As part of the program, you will participate in structured training focused on product management, financial analysis, and strategic thinking. You will also develop core professional skills including communication, presentation, and executive storytelling. The program includes opportunities to engage with senior leaders, receive mentorship, and participate in networking sessions designed to support your long-term career growth.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Engagement
You will work closely with cross-functional partners—including Retail, Digital, Finance, Risk, Technology, and Small Business teams—to support the delivery of integrated product solutions. This experience will strengthen your ability to operate in a highly collaborative environment, align competing priorities, and contribute to initiatives that drive a seamless customer experience across channels and business lines.
