Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) – Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and participate in CAB, Pre-CAB, LCAB, GCAB, change freeze, and weekly change governance meetings.
Prepare and share weekly change reports, significant event updates, and change summaries with leadership stakeholders.
Manage release governance activities, including release tracker updates, approval coordination, deployment support, and production readiness follow-up.
Act as a Technology Resiliency Coordinator for applications and related production services.
Coordinate Disaster Recovery (DR), DCR, SF, DRFOS, and other resiliency activities, ensuring proper planning, execution, tracking, and closure.
Coordinate L1 and L2 production support coverage, US team rotations, weekend/off-hours support, and escalation coverage.
Oversee incident management for critical production incidents, client-impacting incidents, EOP-sensitive incidents, and aged incidents.
Provide operational guidance to support teams and ensure readiness for critical monitoring responsibilities.
Maintain and manage operational tools, monitoring platforms, dashboards, and documentation repositories.
Work with tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, M365, and monitoring dashboards.
Support monthly and recurring management reporting and stakeholder communications.
Ensure production support processes, knowledge documentation, and governance procedures remain current and operationally effective.
Drive SRE adoption by implementing reliability engineering practices such as SLIs/SLOs, service health monitoring, operational readiness, observability, error reduction, and proactive resilience engineering.
