Join a high-impact team supporting cloud cost management efforts for a major financial institution in Washington, D.C. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented business analyst who enjoys working with data, improving reporting tools, and helping users get the most from cloud financial management platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Support cloud cost management software and help ensure smooth day-to-day use across the organization
  • Onboard new users and assist with setup, adoption, and ongoing support
  • Create and maintain widgets, dashboards, and reports to improve visibility into cloud spending
  • Prepare user documentation, guides, presentations, and supporting materials
  • Compare datasets to help verify accuracy and consistency in reporting
  • Work closely with technical and cross-functional teams to gather information and deliver solutions
Skills
  • Strong background in data analysis and reporting
  • Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and terminology
  • Experience working with AWS cloud services is preferred
  • Knowledge of FinOps principles and cloud cost management practices
  • Familiarity with data visualization, charts, and pivot tables in Excel or Power BI
  • Working knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
  • Ability to analyze, organize, and compare datasets with accuracy
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a quick ability to learn new tools and processes
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with IBM Cloudability or similar FinOps platforms
  • Exposure to scripting tools or programming languages
  • Cloud computing certification or related experience
  • Background supporting highly technical, collaborative teams
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field
