This position focuses on maintaining clean, orderly, and safe work environments that support daily operations. You will help ensure spaces meet expectations for employees and customers. As a Custodial Worker 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Safety Practices: Work safely and follow all department safety rules and regulations
- Cleaning Tasks: Maintain neat work areas by sweeping floors, cleaning restrooms, and caring for desks and cabinets
- Equipment Use: Operate vacuums, waxers, mops, and other tools to maintain clean and hazard-free areas
- Instruction Interpretation: Apply detailed instructions and independent judgment to complete cleaning tasks to standard
- Customer Service: Interact with employees and customers to provide helpful service and support
- Site Support: Travel to various facilities as needed and assist with additional tasks throughout the district

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,010.00 (before taxes)
