Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Android Developer to design, develop, enhance, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing mobile applications within the Banking/Financial Services industry.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Kotlin, Java, Android SDK, Android Studio, Jetpack, MVVM, REST APIs, Kotlin Coroutines, Hilt/Dagger, Room, and modern Android development practices.
You will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, Architects, QA teams, and Backend Engineers to deliver reliable, secure, and user-friendly mobile applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Android mobile applications.
- Develop modern Android applications using Kotlin and Java.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable mobile solutions.
- Work with Android SDK, Jetpack, MVVM, Coroutines, and Material Design.
- Integrate REST APIs and enterprise backend services.
- Develop responsive and user-friendly mobile interfaces.
- Implement local data storage using Room and SQLite.
- Troubleshoot application defects, performance issues, and production incidents.
- Participate in code reviews and follow established coding standards and best practices.
- Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
- Collaborate with QA teams throughout testing and release cycles.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Support application deployment and release management activities.
- Contribute to application modernization, technical debt reduction, and continuous improvement.
- Follow enterprise security, compliance, and governance standards.
- Participate in architecture and solution design discussions.
- Provide production support and resolve critical application issues when required.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities.

Important Requirements
- Fully onsite position – no remote option.

- W2 or Full-Time only.
- Candidates should have strong, recent hands-on Android development experience with Kotlin.
