This position provides key clerical support that keeps daily functions organized and efficient. The role involves communication, document preparation, and coordination across multiple departments. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Call Management: Handle incoming calls and route them to the correct staff
- Document Preparation: Type memos, reports, correspondence, and transcriptions with accuracy
- Data Entry: Enter and update information in mainframe systems, databases, and spreadsheets
- Meeting Support: Take minutes during meetings and prepare them for distribution
- Policy Processing: Type, organize, and maintain printed policies, procedures, and other materials
- Supply Coordination: Order office supplies and process system entries as directed

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
