This position is a front-facing, integral part of the Curran Student Center which supports the needs of all pharmacy students in day-to-day functions and expectations. The position requires one to be familiar with resources (campus support) that the school and the university provides for students with personal or school related requests, such as care resources, financial, etc. Student Services is referred as the “triage center” for all pharmacy students. 

Assists in the organization and development of student activities and coordination of special events. Advises student organizations and students on programs and services. Attends student-sponsored social events, monitors organizations' financials and performs reconciliations, and ensures compliance with all University policies. Publicizes student events, assists in developing promotional materials, and registers and monitors new student organizations and requests.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 Manage, oversee and work with the student leaders in the 23-pharmacy organizations. Work includes delegation and management of budget allocations, assist with professional conference travel for students, financial reimbursements, room requests for events and activities.

Works closely with organization lead faculty members to ensure the groups are properly supported and managed.

 Assist the Senior Project Events Manger with the white coat and graduation ceremony as well as orientation and other student focused meetings and events.

Supports scheduling of meetings, mentoring and coaching on appropriate business processes within the guidelines of university and school policy. 

Assist with high volume of students with day-to-day needs and share vital information with them to answer their questions and keep them abreast of expectations.  

Oversee and management of career expo and other internal/external events, participation in various school committees including but not limited to: scholarship, and graduation awards committee.

 Annual reports such as the awards for all twenty-three student organizations are required for the annual Dean’s report.  This may also be required for national accreditation of the school.

Works closely with other student services staff and faculty to ensure student, staff and faculty needs are met.

 Additional tasks as delegated by the supervisor.

Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
