Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Work Arrangement: Onsite 4 days per week
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Coach to guide software development teams in applying Agile/Scrum principles, improving team maturity, and delivering against platform-level roadmaps and objectives. This role uses a servant-leadership approach to promote self-organization, transparency, continuous improvement, and effective collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
  • Coach teams and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum practices, principles, and values.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, daily ceremonies, backlog refinement, and conflict resolution.
  • Remove or escalate impediments, risks, and dependencies in partnership with RTEs and Scrum Leads.
  • Promote self-organization, empowerment, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Support Product Owners with backlog management, prioritization, and transparency.
  • Assess Scrum maturity and coach teams toward sustainable improvements.
  • Foster a trusting, collaborative environment focused on problem-solving and delivery.
  • Align teams to shared platform strategies, roadmaps, and OKRs.
  • Support communication and information sharing across teams and stakeholders.
  • Coach and mentor team members while leading by example.
Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master supporting software development teams using Scrum.
  • Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies and ways of working.
  • Strong facilitation, servant leadership, conflict resolution, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Agile techniques including User Stories, ATDD/TDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, and automated testing.
  • Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Previous management experience.
  • Applicable knowledge of software development technologies.
  • Certified Scrum Practitioner (CSP) or Agile Certified Scrum Master certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Technology, or a related field; other fields will be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to AI solutions and experience assisting engineering teams with AI adoption or administration.
