Java Developer

Introduction:
The Java Developer will be responsible for API development, server-side logic, database management, performance tuning, testing, and cross-functional collaboration within the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java development and a deep understanding of various technologies and frameworks.
Responsibilities:
- API Development: Design, build, and maintain robust, secure, and highly scalable RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Server-Side Logic: Translate application requirements and use cases into functional, reusable, and testable Java code.
- Database Management: Integrate with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and optimization.
- Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve bottlenecks, optimize application response times, and scale backend architecture.
- Testing: Write and maintain comprehensive unit and integration tests (e.g., using JUnit) and participate in rigorous code reviews.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with frontend developers, DevOps engineers, and product managers to deliver cohesive end-to-end applications.
Requirements:
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Java and modern Java versions.
- Extensive knowledge of the Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
- Understanding of Microservices, Monolithic architecture, and design patterns.
- Strong SQL and NoSQL database proficiency, ability to write and optimize queries.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
- Competency with tools in version control systems like Git and build tools like Maven or Gradle.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on industry experience.

- Exceptional analytical and debugging capabilities.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical complexities to nontechnical stakeholders.
