Overview
We are seeking an IT Administrator to manage, configure, and optimize our organization's IT infrastructure by implementing automated solutions. This role will specialize in bringing automation to our manufacturing environment to streamline routine tasks, along with ERP system development and training.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement automated systems to increase efficiency throughout the organization.
- ERP administration: Maintain, configure, troubleshoot, and enhance the ERP system through application of service packs and hotfixes, SQL scripting, and user requests. Work independently with ERP support. Administer add-ons and third-party applications related to the ERP.
- MS365 administration: Maintain office licensing, Exchange Online, AAD synchronization, Entra, and other products in the O365 suite.
- Conduct employee training.
- Identify, develop, and implement new processes to improve productivity and efficiency in our manufacturing operations.
- Identify and resolve issues using existing or potential solutions.
- Create detailed road maps to guide automation projects from initial conception to final implementation.
- Manage and document system configurations.
- Support and upgrade existing automation technology.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Provide technical support and training as needed.
- Software and licensing management: Ensure licensing compliance for all software on-site. Investigate new or upgraded software packages for functionality and ROI.
- Project management: Perform requirements gathering for new projects and provide IT guidance on new and ongoing projects.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or a related field preferred, or equivalent years of experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, plus time management skills and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to take initiative and own tasks with minimal supervision.
Preferred Experience
- Prior IT experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with MRP systems and shop floor data collection.
- Made2Manage experience a plus.
- Cisco Meraki, Netgear switches, and Ubiquiti controllers.
- Windows 11 and Server 2016/2025.
- Microsoft SQL Server.
- MS Office and Teams.
- Exchange Online.
- Azure Active Directory synchronization and on-prem Active Directory.
