This position performs manual and clerical duties to receive, store, and issue materials and tools that support winter maintenance activities. As a Stock Clerk 1, you will perform the following duties:

  • Receiving Tasks: Unpack and check incoming goods and record received items
  • Stock Organization: Store materials and withdraw items based on size, type, and delivery orders
  • Order Assembly: Assemble items for requisition orders and pack shipments for delivery
  • Tool Management: Store, distribute, and track daily use of tools and equipment
  • Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts or hand trucks to move heavy or oversized materials
  • Inventory Support: Assist with physical inventory counts of stock items

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Shift work will be required during winter months
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Graduation from high school; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
