Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Manager to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP Finance Functional configuration and will be responsible for leading the configuration and implementation of SAP FICO solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of financial processes and the ability to translate business requirements into effective SAP solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the configuration and implementation of SAP FICO modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
- Provide expert guidance on SAP Finance Functional best practices and methodologies.
- Conduct system testing and validation to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial data.
- Develop and maintain documentation related to system configurations, processes, and user guides.
- Support end users through training and troubleshooting, ensuring a smooth transition to new systems and processes.
- Stay updated on SAP FICO developments and enhancements, recommending improvements to existing systems.
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications effectively.
Mandatory Skills:
- Proven experience in SAP Finance Functional configuration and implementation.
- Strong understanding of financial processes, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in project management methodologies and tools.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
- Knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD).
- Familiarity with financial reporting tools and techniques.
- Certifications in SAP FICO or related fields.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 15 years of experience in SAP FICO configuration and implementation.
- Strong project management skills with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
