The Data Analyst provides support for the conduct of research studies within UPCI Basic Research Administration. Responsibilities include assisting with data collection and data entry, maintaining research and regulatory documentation, coordinating and scheduling study-related activities, managing supplies and records, and providing general administrative support to the research team. The position works under the supervision of the Principal Investigator and senior research staff and performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or higher. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with standard office and data-management software.
Evaluates business requirements and performs moderately advanced data integration and analysis. Develops moderately advanced analytical and reporting tools utilizing integrated data. Provides technical support.
• Assist with the collection, entry, and quality review of research data in study databases and case report forms.
• Maintain and organize research files, regulatory binders, and study documentation in compliance with institutional and sponsor requirements.
• Coordinate and schedule study-related activities, meetings, and communications with the research team.
• Order, track, and maintain inventory of study and laboratory supplies.
• Provide general administrative support to the Principal Investigator and research staff.
• Adhere to all applicable University policies and research compliance and safety requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
Light - Little physical effort required. Duties are primarily sedentary. May be required to move objects up to 25 pounds occasionally.
