In this position, you will support the day-to-day administration and oversight of 340B operations across multiple sites by monitoring program performance, maintaining drug databases, analyzing pharmacy purchasing and utilization data, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and compliance improvement.This fully remote position will work Monday through Friday during business hours. - Coordinate with wholesaler to optimize accumulator credits for each of the 340B sites. Review and monitor 340B policy changes and participate in educational events related to 340B. Work with contract pharmacies to resolve any pharmacy issues.
- Assist in the peer auditing process to assure program compliance. Analyze daily pharmacy orders and determine areas for opportunity or identify any potential errors.
- Assist pharmacy operations and program coordinate in identifying opportunities for additional savings or areas at risk for compliance.
- Prepare monthly reports for pharmacy operations regarding savings related to the 340B program.
- Coordinate with hospital accounting to review and report program savings with the contract pharmacy program.
- Perform daily maintenance the drug database used with the auto-split software by: o Adding new medications as they become used at the 340B sites o Assuring quantities are in line with how 340B sites bill for medications and how they are supplied by the wholesaler o Run reports and analyses usage to assure compliance with the 340B program
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Strong computer skills are required (Excel, Access and Word).
- The candidate must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required.
- Initiative to work productively with minimal supervision is imperative.
- Experience with billing and/or pharmacy operations preferred.
- Familiarity with the 340B program preferred
