What Makes This Department Unique?

Our team offers a dynamic and diverse clinical experience that extends beyond a traditional internal medicine practice. In addition to supporting primary care patients, team members have the opportunity to work with the Magee-Women's Hospital Pre-Operative Center, where they can expand their clinical skills through phlebotomy, EKGs, and interactions with patients from a wide range of specialties requiring medical clearance prior to surgery.

We also collaborate closely with the UPMC Chronic Pain team, providing exposure to a specialized patient population and the opportunity to work alongside multidisciplinary healthcare professionals. This variety allows team members to broaden their clinical knowledge and gain experience in multiple areas of patient care.

Located within Magee-Women's Hospital, our office offers the convenience of being part of a larger hospital community with easy access to on-site amenities, including the cafeteria, gift shop, outdoor garden, and the beloved turtle pond. Combining a supportive team environment, diverse clinical experiences, and a unique hospital setting, our department provides excellent opportunities for professional growth and career development.
