This position supports the administration of federal grants that strengthen agricultural supply chains and assist farm and food businesses. It helps manage processes, communications, and reporting for the Resilient Food Systems Infrastructure program. As a Administrative Officer 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Grant Support: Coordinate application steps, scoring activities, and proposal reviews for each round of grants
- System Oversight: Manage the electronic grants system and maintain accurate project tracking for all RFSI program rounds
- Contract Processing: Prepare and execute grant agreements and monitor related documentation and updates
- Financial Review: Process grant invoices and confirm that spending follows approved statements of work
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain ongoing contact with applicants, grantees, and committee members to support program needs
- Compliance Monitoring: Conduct site visits, document findings, and monitor equipment tracking tools required by United States Department of Agriculture

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- This position requires travel for site visits to audit grant recipients that may be outside of normal business hours.
- This position may require overtime in rare circumstances based on work load.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, two days one week and three days the next. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- Experience with data management and reporting
- Interpersonal communication skills
