This position supports critical administrative functions that help Lebanon County Children and Youth Services operate smoothly and deliver important services to families. As an Administrative Officer 1, you will perform the following duties:

  • Health Choices Coordination: Oversee Health Choices transactions and act as liaison with managed care agencies
  • Personnel Processing: Complete personnel transactions, performance evaluations, and new hire paperwork in a timely manner
  • Clerical Supervision: Supervise clerical staff, assign duties, and assist with interviews and hiring input
  • IT and Office Support: Manage IT request forms, address computer and printer needs, and order office supplies with approval
  • Record Management: Maintain organization charts, employee listings, and required records for compliance
  • Budget Assistance: Support the Administrator with needs-based planning and budget preparation

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements: 

  • This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
    • Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
