Job Summary:
Provide personalized guidance to students and/or parents on student loan options, ensuring compliance and delivering exceptional client service throughout the loan process.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
+ Client Consultation: Conduct phone calls and in-person meetings with student loan clients to analyze their student loan debt and present options to save money byrefinancing their loans or entering loans into federal loan repayment andforgiveness plans
+ Loan Assessment: Evaluate creditworthiness and eligibility for student loans.
+ Product Guidance: Explain federal and private loan options, interest rates, repayment plans, and deferment options.
+ Application Support: Assist clients in completing loan applications and gathering documentation.
+ Compliance: Ensure all loan agreements comply with federal and state regulations.
+ Customer Service: Resolve client concerns and maintain communication throughout the loan process.
+ Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of applications, interactions, and repayment schedules.
+ Education & Outreach: Provide financial literacy education related to student loans and repayment strategies.
Required Qualifications:
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
+ Experience: A minimum of 1 year experience in financial services, banking, or loan processing; student loan experience preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base hourly rate in the range of $23.08 - $34.62 per hour. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
