GENERAL OVERVIEW
Inspects, repairs, installs and tests heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Install and ensure the proper operation of the hospital's heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment. (40%)
Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems and equipment in accordance with PM schedule and procedures. (35%)
Maintain clean and safe work environment. Comply with all safety and infection control policies and procedures in testing, maintenance and use of equipment, in work project areas, and in maintenance shop. (10%)
Receive, prioritize and dispatch work requests according to department procedures. Completes all documentation, log sheets, requisitions and accountability sheets per department procedures. (15%)
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
High school diploma or GED required.
Either Type I, II or III freon license required.
Three (3) years of experience in heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems maintenance and repair.
Preferred
Associate's degree or vocational/technical school certification in HVAC preferred.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Additional Employment Requirements:
- Valid PA Driver's License.
