As a Physical Therapist, you will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based therapy interventions, monitor progress, and educate patients and families to help achieve optimal outcomes. You will work with a diverse patient population, helping individuals improve mobility, strength, balance, function, and overall quality of life.
This will be a float position that will provide coverage to our Chapel Harbor, Delmont, Forest Hills, Greensburg, Eastgate, Greensburg Pellis, Harmarville, Lower Burrell, Monroeville – Corp One, Monroeville – Oxford, Murrysville, Norwin, Penn Hills, Plum, Sarver, Saxonburg, and Verona offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments
- Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient progress
- Document patient care, treatment outcomes, and discharge planning
- Communicate patient status with physicians and the healthcare team
- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants
- Provide home exercise programs and patient/family education
- Rotate through treatment areas as needed
- Participate in staff meetings, continuing education, and professional development
- May serve as a clinical instructor for PT students and residents
- Graduate of an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
- Must possess knowledge and skills required to provide quality customer service.
- Outpatient experience, preferred
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
Active license in practicing state required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Physical Therapist (PT)
