Responsibilities:
- Responsible for tech quality assurance program and the reviewing and updating of protocols alongside of or in place of the lead technologists.
- Assumes leadership role in training staff on new equipment
- Assist with accreditation responsibilities.
Attends advanced training sessions and seminars in order to maintain industry standards in imaging techniques and disseminates information to imaging departmental leadership and as a part of new hire orientation.
- Leads training on new techniques and protocols for research studies and collaborates with radiologists and researchers where applicable to identify new techniques and problem solving resolutions.
Serves as a technical resource to technologists on a daily operational basis.
- Creates and implements new training programs, where applicable, and assists with the startup of new offsite locations.
- Responsibilities for new locations include, but are not limited to, working on reporting systems, obtaining appropriate images and effectively communicating with attending physicians as well as co-workers and patients
- Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or certified by a CNMT program.
- 3 years CT experience required.
- Must have obtained a performance review rating of strong/solid/good on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion.
- Previous 3D post processing experience is a plus!
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- ARRT certified as a CT Technologist.
- CPR or BLS Required.
- CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.
- ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
