This position focuses on performing audits, reviewing financial records, identifying violations, and supporting enforcement actions that protect vehicle service operations.  Your diligent work will support fraud prevention, policy compliance, and effective communication with agents, messengers, and departmental leadership.  As a Dealer Audit Section Field Auditor, you will perform the following duties:


  • Audit Performance: Conduct on-site audits and review documents to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and contract requirements
  • Fraud Detection: Identify potential violations or fraudulent activity and report concerns to management
  • Financial Review: Analyze titling and registration financial documents to confirm correct fees and proper procedures
  • Report Preparation: Prepare audit reports, track findings, and issue warning or sanction letters as required
  • Training Recommendations: Recommend training needs for contractors based on audit results
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective working relationships and provide information at hearings or meetings as needed

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • The selected applicant will work at the Driver’s License Center location nearest to their home address, as determined by the agency.
  • This position may be eligible for alternate work schedule (AWS).
  • This position may require travel and overtime. 
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, upon successful completion of the 6 month training period.  In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania.  If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the assigned headquarters location.  The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.  Additional details may be provided during the interview.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

  • You must possess a current Class C driver's license which is not under suspension.
  • You must reside in one of the following counties: Cambria, Indiana, Huntingdon, or Blair.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
