Represents the University in new student recruitment and participates in the evaluation of applicants. Participates in recruitment activities and projects, both in and out of state.

  • Helps coordinate both OAFA's and the School of Computing and Information's presence at admissions programs and recruitment events.
  • Represents both offices by delivering presentations and facilitating Q&A sessions with prospective and admitted students and their families.
  • Assists with developing and implementing recruitment strategies to attract a diverse and academically talented pool of first-year applicants.
  • Acts as an academic expert, providing guidance on SCI majors, career pathways, and opportunities while collaborating with both OAFA and SCI staff throughout the recruitment process.
  • Corresponds and interacts with prospective students, applicants, advisors, and others seeking information on admissions standards, academic programs, student experiences, and career outcomes.
  • Conducts informational meetings with prospective students and their families.

Mobility with regard to possible travel within the United States. Valid driver’s license is required. May be required to carry a box of material (up to 50 lbs.) from car and/or from building to building or between floors.
