Job Title: Network Architect - LOCALS ONLYLocation: Pittsburgh, PA / Chicago, IL (Day 1 Onsite)Work Mode: Client Location (No REMOTE / No RELOCATION)Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize enterprise-levelnetwork infrastructures. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in network architecture, security,cloud networking, and large-scale transformations. This role requires strong leadership, strategicthinking, and hands-on technical capabilities to support complex client environments.Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance network architectures acrossenterprise environments. Lead network transformation initiatives, including modernization, cloud adoption, and hybridnetwork solutions. Develop network standards, frameworks, and best practices aligned with business and securityrequirements. Architect solutions involving LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, data centers, and multi-cloud environments(AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform). Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security, cloud, infrastructure) to ensure seamlessintegration. Evaluate and recommend networking technologies, tools, and vendors. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to network engineers and operations teams. Conduct network capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization. Ensure compliance with security policies, regulatory standards, and industry best practices. Troubleshoot complex network issues and provide root cause analysis. Support pre-sales activities including solution design, proposals, and client presentations.Required Skills & Expertise Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP). Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, MPLS, VPNs, and network virtualization. Deep knowledge of network security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Zero Trust architecture). Experience with cloud networking (AWS VPC, Azure VNet, hybrid connectivity). Proficiency in data center networking (Spine-Leaf architecture, VXLAN, EVPN). Familiarity with load balancers (F5, Citrix ADC, NGINX). Experience with network automation (Python, Ansible, Terraform). Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (SolarWinds, Splunk, etc.). Strong understanding of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s or Masters in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
