This position manages major safety, emergency, and regulatory programs that support a secure and compliant 24-hour facility operation. As a Facility Safety Manager, you will perform the following duties:
- Safety Program Oversight: Direct safety programs for residents, employees, and visitors
- Hazard Inspection: Inspect facility buildings and grounds to identify safety risks and take corrective action
- Incident Review: Review reports of accidents and unusual incidents to identify causes and maintain records
- Training Development: Develop and conduct safety training programs for staff and management
- Regulatory Compliance: Administer safety and environmental programs to meet legal and licensure standards
- Emergency Coordination: Serve as liaison with emergency responders and support preparedness activities

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of professional experience in an organized accident prevention, fire prevention, environmental safety, or security program, and a bachelor’s degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
