This role focuses on assisting customers with driver licensing needs while ensuring proper identification verification, testing procedures, and record updates. As a Driver License Examiner Assistant, you will perform the following duties:

  • Customer Support: Greet customers, verify identification, and provide required forms and information
  • Test Administration: Conduct knowledge tests and vision screenings using standardized tools
  • Data Entry: Record test results and enter application information into on-line systems
  • Service Guidance: Respond to customer questions and explain licensing requirements and options
  • Record Processing: Prepare restoration requirement letters and ensure correct documentation for all transactions
  • Compliance Tasks: Follow REAL ID regulations, fee waiver guidelines, and customer service policies

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 80 hours bi-weekly
  • Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:45 PM, Tuesday - Saturday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Overtime and travel may be required
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. 
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of experience obtaining, evaluating, and providing information to the public.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
