This position supports the daily warehouse and commissary operations within SCI Phoenix by managing inventory, overseeing inmate workers, and ensuring accurate distribution of materials. As a Corrections Stock Clerk, you will perform the following duties:
- Inventory Management: Receive, track, and distribute stock and commissary items within the facility
- Inmate Oversight: Provide guidance, training, and supervision to inmates completing work assignments
- Order Processing: Handle commissary orders, verify account balances, and document all related transactions
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse equipment safely to move and store materials
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs, reports, and inventory documentation through established systems
- Safety Practices: Ensure secure handling of materials and maintain a clean, safe work environment

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of 44,524.00 (before taxes).
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Special Requirement:
- You must possess an active motor vehicle license.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
