Coordinates and conducts research procedures, activities, and outreach for social science qualitative and quantitative studies. Conducts reviews and scans of current context to inform research questions and design. Collects and analyzes data and complies with all policies and regulations.
- Collects, analyzes, and synthesizes information from peer-reviewed and grey literature.
- Conducts analysis of research data including systematic extraction of articles for scoping reviews, thematic analysis for qualitative coding, and analysis of quantitative data.
- Conducts other research activities appropriate to level of experience including contributing to data collection and to the development of peer-reviewed papers
- Coordinates research activities including the recruitment and compensation of study participants, administration of surveys, focus groups, or in-depth interviews, and submission/ reporting of protocols and milestone updates to the institutional review board.
- Ensures that all research activities are conducted in alignment with IRB approved protocols and best practices for human subjects’ research.
- Prepares tailored one- pager materials, results briefs, and other outputs to disseminate results from research activities with key stakeholder audiences.
Conducts research assessments on study participants. Assists with and adheres to Institutional Review Board (IRB) renewal, modification, and approved protocols. Assists with training staff. Ensures adherence to protocols and corrects issues with data collection.
Requires the ability to visualize a computer screen, to work with computer hardware and software, to communicate verbally and in writing, and to use a phone. The candidate must have strong working knowledge of English.
Position is mostly sedentary work.
