This role focuses on providing non-professional nursing care to residents while supporting their comfort, safety, and everyday needs. As a Nurse Aide, you will perform the following duties:
- Care Support: Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and feeding
- Condition Monitoring: Observe residents, gather basic health data, and report changes to licensed staff
- Safety Assistance: Apply safety devices, maintain clean spaces, and remove hazards from resident rooms
- Resident Transport: Move and position residents safely and escort them to appointments when needed
- Documentation Work: Record care and services on required forms to meet regulatory and facility standards
- Room Readiness: Prepare resident rooms, handle belongings, and maintain orderly living spaces

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Part-time employment (40 hours biweekly)
- Work hours are 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM (2nd shift), with a 30-minute lunch. Working every other weekend is required.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry; or
- Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.
- This position is assigned to a long-term or specialized care facility and requires active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
