This role supports front desk operations and helps maintain strong communication throughout the District office. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:

  • Front Desk Coverage: Greet visitors and guide them to appropriate staff
  • Call Handling: Assist callers by directing calls and recording clear, detailed messages
  • Visitor Screening: Check identification and issue visitor passes
  • Clerical Support: Prepare correspondence, memos, and other clerical materials
  • Damage Claims: Route and respond to line painting damage claims
  • Supply Management: Maintain neat lobby areas and keep front desk supplies stocked

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 1-hour lunch.
  • Telework:  You will not have the option to telework in this position
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
