This position provides essential clerical and administrative support that helps keep garage operations organized and ensures staff have the information they need. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Training Support: Prepare equipment training paperwork, update certifications, and maintain records for employee training
- Safety Documentation: Collect and organize safety-related accident and injury documentation and enter required information into systems
- Fuel Tracking: Enter fuel slips, review daily fuel reports, and maintain fuel card inventory
- Program Management: Coordinate recycling pickups and complete required program documentation
- Mail Processing: Open, distribute, and prepare outgoing mail including certified and UPS items
- Reception Backup: Assist with receptionist duties and provide support during winter dispatch shifts

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831 (before taxes).

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- One year or more of previous employment in the clerical field.
- One year or more of experience using Microsoft Office products.
- One year or more of experience in office work such as scheduling and coordinating events, meetings and/or trainings.
- Two years or more of customer service background (answering incoming telephone calls, re-routing calls as a switchboard operator, or speaking with customers and/or employees that come into the office)
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
