Federated Hermes is seeking a Senior Advertising Review Specialist to support the review of advertising, sales literature, and other marketing communications. This role is responsible for ensuring materials comply with applicable SEC, FINRA, global regulatory requirements, and industry standards. The Senior Advertising Review Specialist will partner closely with Marketing, Compliance, Legal, and business stakeholders to review and approve a wide range of communications, provide regulatory guidance, and support the development of compliant disclosures and marketing content.
Success in this position requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a high degree of regulatory expertise and attention to detail. The specialist will coordinate regulatory filings, manage responses to regulatory reviews and inquiries, research and interpret evolving advertising and marketing regulations, and support cross-functional initiatives such as website reviews, content updates, training, and documentation. Specifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Paralegal Certificate preferred.
- 10+ years of business experience, preferably within the financial services or legal industry.
- 8+ years of experience reviewing advertising, sales literature, marketing materials, or mutual fund/advisory products.
- Working knowledge of mutual funds, investment advisory services, and related products.
- Familiarity with non-U.S. marketing requirements, Compliance review processes, and GIPS standards.
- Demonstrated expertise in advertising and marketing regulations and the ability to review complex marketing materials.
- Series 7 and Series 24 FINRA registrations, or the ability to obtain them within a reasonable period following hire.
