The Lab Director's home department is Health Promotion and Development within the School of Nursing. They support two university labs researching Alzheimer's disease and related dementias with research and administrative functions. The labs integrate epidemiologic and neuroscience methods in a population neuroscience framework.

  • Master's Degree preferred
  • Epidemiology training preferred
  • Data management and analytic experience is a plus
  • Admin tasks as needed (keep up CV, coordinate meetings, gain budget approvals and complete necessary paperwork, etc., submit manuscripts to journals)
  • Onboard/train research staff/students
  • Research coordination and regulatory (IRB submissions, scheduling participants, creating and administering research assessments, etc.)
  • Data management and analytic functions (Creation and data entry of RedCap surveys, data verification, cleaning, basic stats analysis)
  • Other duties as assigned

Oversees day-to-day management and execution of multiple complex research projects and ensures compliance with all funding agencies and sponsors. Constructs data collection instruments and crafts promotional materials. Troubleshoots data and manages database. Assists with screening, recruitment, and enrollment of study participants. Performs budgetary and purchasing functions.

 Oversees day-to-day management and execution of multiple complex research projects including
recommending and implementing project procedures; tracks project progress, assesses project
needs, assigns tasks, and evaluates team performance.
• Trains consultants, subcontractors, clerical/technical staff, and graduate student researchers.
• Documents and assures compliance with all requirements of funding agencies and sponsors that
support ongoing research activities.
• Constructs data collection instruments and promotional materials; collects, analyzes and
troubleshoots data and manages database. Compiles reports and present data findings as
directed.
• Assists with screening, recruitment, and enrollment of study participants.
• Facilitates budgetary and purchasing decisions.
