The Aging Care Management Supervisor 2 position at the Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging offers a meaningful way to support older adults every day. This position focuses on supervising protective service activities and ensuring that older adults receive safe, appropriate support. The work blends leadership, oversight, documentation, and collaboration with community partners. As an Aging Care Management Supervisor 2, you will perform the following duties:

  • Protective Oversight: Oversee investigations, evaluations, and maintenance of protective service cases in compliance with laws and regulations
  • Staff Guidance: Train workers on protective service rules and procedures and review performance to support improvement
  • Case Review: Monitor ongoing protective service cases and confirm accuracy of Reports of Need for adults of all ages
  • Community Coordination: Work with nursing homes, personal care homes, hospitals, law enforcement, and other entities to share information and support consumers
  • Program Administration: Update protective service plans, monitor programs with the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Scheduling Support: Prepare on-call schedules, ensure coverage, and assist workers with on-call needs during non-working hours

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. 
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Four years of experience in public or private social work; and a Bachelor's Degree; or 
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training including successful completion of 12 semester hours of college level courses in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, or other related social sciences.
