This position provides clerical support that helps the office operate efficiently and stay well organized. The role is important in keeping information, communication, and daily activities on track. As a Clerical Assistant 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Phone And Mail: Handle calls, relay messages, manage the switchboard, and process incoming and outgoing mail
- Document Preparation: Type and review documents, correct errors, and complete timely distribution
- Scheduling Support: Organize appointments, meetings, videoconferences, and record minutes when needed
- Records Management: Maintain filing systems, archive documents, and update databases, reports, and spreadsheets
- Office Coordination: Compile records, guide workflow, monitor supplies, and track required reports
- General Tasks: Complete photocopying, scanning, faxing, email work, and keep the office neat
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday-Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $36,831 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Graduation from high school: or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of the training academy in Elizabethtown, PA.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.

- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
