Job Title: AWS Data Engineer
Location: Pittsburgh, PA (Day One Onsite)
Duration: Long-Term Contract
Employment Type: W2 or 1099 (No C2C)
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of Data Engineering experience
- Strong AWS experience (Glue, S3, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena, Step Functions)
- Python/PySpark and SQL
- Apache Spark
- ETL/ELT pipeline development
- Data warehousing and data modeling
- Git and CI/CD
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop AWS-based data pipelines
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows
- Integrate data from multiple sources
- Ensure data quality, performance, and security
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions
Preferred: AWS Certification, Airflow/MWAA, Snowflake or Databricks.
