This role provides key clerical support that keeps district Wine and Spirits Shoppes operating smoothly and efficiently. As a District Manager Secretary (Clerical Assistant 2), you will perform the following duties:

  • Human Resource Support: Manage personnel documents, process requests, and ensure accurate completion of forms for evaluations, hiring, and disciplinary matters
  • Scheduling Assistance: Coordinate interviews, maintain calendars, track leave, and verify coverage for store operations
  • Communication Handling: Respond to inquiries from offices, stores, legislators, unions, and vendors with timely and clear information
  • Document Preparation: Type and distribute letters, memos, reports, forms, and lists for district and regional use
  • Operational Coordination: Order supplies, manage purchasing card records, track receipts, and support store and district logistics
  • Record Maintenance: Organize office files, track required documents, and maintain accurate records for mandated periods

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full time employment, 37.5 hours per week.
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30 minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position. 
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting salary of $36,831 (before taxes).

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Six months as a Clerical Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Graduation from high school; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
