Federated Hermes, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, Investment Data Operations based in our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania headquarters, to lead a team responsible for the governance, quality, and stewardship of critical investment data used across the firm. This role partners closely with Front Office, Data Governance , Global Technology Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams to verify that core datasets are accurate, timely, and fit for purposes across the investment lifecycle. The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in data management practices with solid leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the Data Management function
- Own enterprise data governance and stewardship
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and control effectiveness
- Drive cross-functional partnership and stakeholder engagement
- Lead data strategy, modernization, and innovation initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree finance, Economics, Data Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field required.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in data management, investment operations or investment technology within the financial services industry required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role required.
- Experience using industry-leading MDM solutions required
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems
- Solid decision making, problem solving and analytical skills
- Creative thinker with solid communication and collaboration skills
Preferred:
- Master’s degree (e.g., MBA, MS in Data Analytics, Information Systems, or Finance) preferred
- Deep subject?matter expertise in investment data domains such as securities master, pricing, benchmarks, corporate actions, portfolios, transaction data, and performance inputs
