What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll support our technologists and imaging staff in providing exceptional patient care and high-quality MRI services. You’ll play an important role in creating a safe, comfortable, and efficient experience for every patient. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Greeting patients as they arrive, assisting with paperwork, and answering questions.
- Escorting patients to dressing areas and helping them prepare for their exams.
- Conducting MRI screenings to ensure safety before entering the scan room.
- Assisting with patient transfers and positioning under technologist direction.
- Establishing IV access and helping prepare oral contrast as instructed.
- Monitoring patients during exams and providing discharge instructions.
- Performing basic equipment checks, cleaning exam rooms, and transporting patients as needed.
- Supporting technologists with daily and weekly quality control (QC) testing.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one-year of previous healthcare experience.
- Medical terminology and recent medical/imaging office experience preferred.
- IV insertion experience preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Act 34
