Job Description : 

The Allegheny Health Network (AHN) Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Institute (PBHI) is seeking a full-time Psychologist or Neuropsychologist to provide outpatient services at its location in Yorktown Plaza, Erie, PA. The PBHI is growing rapidly and seeking motivated individuals who want to join our faculty and be at the forefront of psychiatric care.  This position is primarily an in-person service delivery position, with limited remote work.  Be part of a vertically integrated fiscal and clinical delivery system that is revolutionizing behavioral health service models, providing evidence-based treatments, and measurement-based care.

Highlights:

  • Provide outpatient psychological services to fill one or more of the following specific needs:
    • Psychological (or neuropsychological) testing evaluations for adult or lifespan patients with autism, ADHD, and related referral questions.
    • Neuropsychological evaluation for adults with dementia and related referral questions.
    • Provision of psychotherapy for older adults and medically complex adult patients. Psychotherapy will largely entail individual work, with option of couples, group and family psychotherapy.
  • Completion of timely documentation in the electronic health record. Psychotherapy is expected to include completion of initial diagnostic interview, development of comprehensive treatment plans, and incorporation of measurement-based care
  • Attend biweekly treatment team meetings and additional department meetings.
  • Opportunities for teaching and training, including supervision for predoctoral psychology interns and postdoctoral psychology/neuropsychology fellows

Qualifications:

  • Doctorate degree in Psychology and complete of APA Accredited Pre-Doctoral Clinical Internship in Psychology
  • For testing Psychologists: Clinical training in the assessment of ADHD and autism (ADOS-2 training preferred but not required) and/or neurocognitive disorders
  • Holds a Psychology license in the state of Pennsylvania, or eligibility for Pennsylvania licensure.
  • Applicants identifying as Neuropsychologists are expected to be eligible or board certified in Neuropsychology.
