Federated Hermes has an exciting opportunity for an Investment Analyst – Equity for our Pittsburgh headquarters. This position focuses primarily on international and domestic financial sectors, with the potential to add additional sectors, and will be a key member of the Strategic Value Research group, which manages approximately $40 billion in assets. As an Investment Analyst, you will conduct in-depth and complex research and analysis to support the firm’s investment decision-making process. An ideal candidate will be intellectually curious, passionate about finding the answers, and confident in making recommendations.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree; MBA preferred
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Equity Analyst required
- Equity analysis experience in the international and domestic financial sectors required
- Proficiency with Excel, Word and Bloomberg
- CFA or progress towards CFA preferred
- Experience in adopting and integrating AI technologies
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Conduct ongoing independent, in-depth and complex research and analysis of equities in the international and domestic financial sectors
- Maintain in-depth research and analysis of stocks within the international and domestic financial sectors
- Utilize analysis to formulate investment ideas and clearly articulate to portfolio managers
- Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, regulatory changes, and company specific issues
