This role supports customers and state partners by helping resolve driver licensing questions and maintaining accurate records. As a Clerical Assistant 3, you will perform the following duties:
- Customer Support: Respond to inquiries from the public and agencies about driver license suspensions and commercial driver requirements
- Record Explanation: Review driver records and explain requirements for restoring driving privileges or confirming identity in system checks
- Document Review: Analyze customer documentation and verify information with other agencies when needed
- Data Processing: Enter information into mainframe systems and update records for suspended, revoked, cancelled or disqualified drivers
- Official Output: Prepare and send official driver documents and correspondence based on record reviews
- Case Maintenance: Maintain files, process reports, and complete follow-up actions for cases

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or
- One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
