BikePGH, a nonprofit bicycle and pedestrian advocacy organization, is seeking a creative, thoughtful, and ambitious individual that can strategically manage corporate relationships from prospecting to on-going cultivation. The Corporate Giving Manager is responsible for achieving revenue goals through corporate fundraising. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a development or sales background, including demonstrated experience securing significant sponsorships and underwriting. This position requires active listening, creative problem solving, and curiosity in order to find alignment between corporate marketing objectives, charitable focuses, and BikePGH's mission and programs.

Title: Corporate Giving Manager
Position: Full-time, Exempt
Target Start: September-October 2026
Salary: $58,000 - $64,000 annually depending upon experience, with an opportunity to receive a bonus for exceeding revenue goals.
Reports to: Development Director
Mission: BikePGH is transforming our streets to make biking and walking commonplace for all Pittsburghers in order to improve our quality of life and reduce the harmful effects of car dependence in our communities.

Primary Responsibilities:
Corporate Fundraising and Engagement (85%)
- Raises $350,000 annually via all corporate giving channels with expected >6% growth in subsequent years.
- Strategically uses corporate sponsorships, corporate grant opportunities, in-kind donations, media sponsorships, workplace giving and volunteering, and more to meet BikePGH’s financial and programmatic needs.
- Maintains an understanding of all corporate giving vehicles.
- Conducts research on prospective and existing sponsors.
- Creates sponsorship proposals and engagement opportunities that will maximize ROI for corporate sponsors.
- Collaborates with relevant staff on event and organization sponsorship fulfillment.
- Tracks sponsorship deliverables and ensures fulfillment is completed to the standards of agreements.
- Oversees drafting, editing, submitting, and tracking/reporting on corporate grants.
- Builds and maintains corporate relationships through outreach and virtual/in-person visits.
- Designs and manages relationship cultivation using all BikePGH communication channels and event opportunities.
- In collaboration with Director of Development, develops the annual corporate giving budget including the expected month of receipt. Communicates to CFO when actuals will differ from the budget.
- Will develop a firm understanding of programs, impacts, and financial needs - uses this information to build connections with corporate donors.
Bike rack sales (15%)
- Provides consulting services to corporations and businesses seeking bike parking.
- Manages and actively sells bike racks to businesses and individuals through the Dero Advocate Dealer Program.
- Communicates with developers and builders on how Dero and bike amenities will make their buildings more bike-friendly.
Education:
- 3-5 years of experience in nonprofit or business development/account management, preferably with direct experience fundraising, negotiating and closing corporate giving commitments.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required (or relevant work experience with the associated responsibilities)
Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience or genuine interest in community serving non-profits with a focus on active transportation, climate change, or city planning.
- Excellent communication skills across multiple disciplines and platforms, including via conversation, written communication, and public speaking.
- Solutions oriented perspective with creative problem-solving skills with the ability to align corporate giving priorities with BikePGH’s mission and existing programming.
- Self-starter, with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small, non-profit environment.
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets (Word/Excel, Docs/Sheets) CRM database management (EveryAction, Salesforce, Blackbaud etc).
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Work is performed in an office setting and outside at events such as PedalPGH and OpenStreetsPGH.
- Travel within the community and to events will be required.
- Occasional evening and weekend work will be required.
- Utilizes normal speech and hearing necessary for extensive conversation.
- Varied activities including sitting, reaching, bending, lifting up to 25lbs, pushing/pulling, walking or assisted walking via wheelchair or mobility device.
- Have the hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity needed to operate a computer, photocopier/scanner, telephone, and other office equipment.
