We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support a construction-focused organization in Mars, Pennsylvania on a Contract basis. This role will oversee core accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and help ensure timely reporting across the business. The ideal candidate brings strong expertise in month-end close, general ledger management, reconciliations, and financial statement oversight within a construction accounting environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead the monthly close process, ensuring deadlines are met and financial data is complete and accurate.
- Oversee general ledger activity, review account balances, and maintain the integrity of financial records.
- Prepare and post journal entries to support routine and adjusting accounting transactions.
- Perform detailed account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Produce financial statements and supporting schedules for internal and external reporting needs.
- Coordinate audit preparation activities and provide documentation required for financial statement audits.
- Manage consolidation of financial information across entities or business units as needed.
- Utilize Viewpoint Vista to support accounting workflows, reporting, and financial record maintenance.
